Much of my time at Villanova was shaped by the experiences I've had at the Inn, so joining FVM was always a possibility, but I wasn't sure what I was looking to do. During my senior year I started applying to do a year of service, and up until late June I was planning on serving internationally for two years with another organization. Through a series of experiences this summer I started to understand what it was that I was looking for. And the community life with FVM of service and prayer was just that. During the upcoming year, I want to share God's love with others in a very concrete way. Living a life of love in response to the love God has shown me is how I want to live, and I want to take this year to figure out how that can manifest itself in my life long term. |

Hello my name is Jeff Sved. I'm originally from Pittsburgh and
recently graduated from Villanova University where I majored in Chemical Engineering with a focus on sustainable engineering. I was
very involved with Villanova's service programs in campus ministry where I first volunteered at St. Francis Inn. My favorite hobbies
